Cuscino doppia rete a uncinetto - airali design - Chains net crochet cushion

Sono a Londra da un bel po' di mesi e ho fatto due traslochi. La prima casa era provvisoria e del tutto sprovvista di divano (e di spazio per il divano), la seconda, quella attuale, ha un ampio soggiorno con ben due divani che nel passaggio da 0 a 2 mi sembravano la cosa più bella del mondo.

Poi li ho osservati bene.

Sono di velluto a coste color cammello e decisamente vissuti, non c'è bellezza oggettiva nel loro essere tristi e marroncini. In fin dei conti non mi dispiacciono, ma un po' di colore e un cuscino all'uncinetto non si nega a nessuno.

Ed è così che due gomitoli di cotone Natura XL sono diventati una fitta rete di catenelle lavorate all'uncinetto!

* Il libro aperto sul divano-triste è una meravigliosa raccolta di artworks di Lauren Hom, Daily Dishonesty. Una raccolta di bugie quotidiane (da "sono pronta tra 5 minuti" a "ti richiamo subito") con un lettering irresistibile.

I'm in London for a few months and I already did two removals. First house was temporary and there was not the sofa (and even enough room for the sofa), the second one, the current one, has a large living room with two couches. Go from 0 to 2 seemed to me the most beautiful thing in the world.

Then I observed them well.

They are in camel corduroy fabric and very old, there is no objective beauty in their being sad and brownish. After all, I do not mind, but a crocheted cushion is not denied to anyone.

So, two balls of Nature XL cotton yarn have become a crochet chains net for a pillow!

Vestito all'uncinetto anni '60 con motivo geometrico in bianco e nero - airali design - Sixties crochet dress with geometric black & white panel

Sono al settimo cielo. Il mio primo vestito sulla copertina della rivista Simply Crochet, non l'avrei mai immaginato! Nonostante i tanti giorni (e una notte) per realizzare tutti i pezzi, per cucire con cura e rifinire tutti i dettagli in tempo, quasi non ci credo di averlo fatto proprio io.
Io sono quella che le amiche chiamano "pupazzara" (con tanto affetto eh!), che non ha pazienza per realizzare il secondo calzino o il secondo guanto, che non riesce a completare le maniche del suo maglione in attesa da sei mesi. A volte dobbiamo avere fiducia in noi stessi e provare finché non arriviamo alla meta.

Il mood del numero 43 della rivista è gli anni '60 e le fantasie geometriche in bianco e nero. Tra calze, guanti, accessori e borse c'è il mio vestito; un abito corto, con linea ad A, giromanica, scollo tondo... insomma un abito per tutte le occasioni se non fosse per il pannello geometrico centrale, che ho adorato dal primo momento in cui ho posato la matita sul foglio (pensando a Mary Quant, Jean Shrimpton e Twiggy).
Confesso che l'amore è calato nel momento in cui mi è toccato cucire tutti i pezzi, ma alla fine la soddisfazione era alle stelle. Spero sarà lo stesso per chi lo realizzerà!

I'm over the moon. My first dress on the cover of Simply Crochet magazine, I would never have imagined! Despite the many days (and one night) to make all the pieces, sewing carefully and finish all the details in time, almost do not believe I did it myself.

I'm the one that crochet mostly toys, who has no patience to make the second sock or second glove, which fails to complete the sleeves of my knitted sweater on hold for six months. Sometimes we must have faith in ourselves and try until we get the goal.

Sixties style with geometric patterns in black and white is the mood of issue 43 of the magazine. It includes socks, gloves, accessories, handbags and my dress; it's a A line tunic, without sleeves, round neckline... in short, a dress for all occasions were it not for the geometrical panel that I loved from the first moment I put the pencil on the paper (thinking about Mary Quant, Jean Shrimpton and Twiggy)

I confess that the love slightly disappeared when I had to sew all the pieces, but in the end the satisfaction was skyrocketing. I hope it will be the same for those who will make it!
